Default So the post man called by today.......

Finally got myself (and the missus) a Feather, as some of you may know from my previous posts as well as my wanted ad, I have been after a AC-DX for some time but I think this beauty will fill the bill just nice.

Won't have much of an opportunity to shave with it before the weekend but I will update with my experience afterwards.

    I like mine a lot.
Anytime I think I know how to hone
I pull it out and get "spanked". Keep
the styptic handy it shave well with a light
    touch... it needs no pressure.

Lather well and you both will enjoy it.

Enjoy, and let us know how it goes.

I've been tempted to try one, but TBH the price does seem a bit prohibitive when I think of the real straights I could buy with the same amount (or less).....

Yer, IKWUM, especially with regards to a buying a real straight instead, however I also think it's all relative.

I advertised both here and on B&B for a 2nd hand Feather DX and received no offers whatsoever; so if I were to decide to sell mine, I don't think I'd struggle or lose too much.

They are expensive for sure, but I tend to forget all about that every time I use my SS...
