Default Looking for a NYC Honemeister

So I gave in and bought the Theirs Issard razor from AOS, even though they claim it's "Shave ready" I really doubt that and want to have it honed and made truly ready.

Anybody know of a good honemeister in the NYC area and what they would charge?

    Thanks

Thanks everyone, I think I will send it to Lynn, I already spend 135 on the razor I may as well spring for the extra 20 to make it perfect

Yep, not shave ready(I own the same one). I also honed it, really hard steel, but it shaves decently. Congratulations, get it honed. My favorite edge has comed from gssixgun, hyper sharp and super smooth. Or you can get someone here to hone it for you(I am in NY if you want it). I will have no problem on doing it for free.

It's been a couple of years since this thread was started. Is there still only one honemeister?

Still only one Honemeister, however there are several honing masters out there.
