Errrr..Decisions...Decisions....Decisions
Ok So I ordered a straight package from srd and some DE's from shave nation for myself and for other in the family for christmas gifts. I was expecting the straight package to go the my parents house since paypal was being dumb about addresses, anyway I got confirmation that all the packages were delivered and was expecting to have a nice shave with my new Parker 22r in gun metal. So I ask my brother to put the bixes in the room where I stay when I am at my parents house and he says only one box got there. So I go look at the package confirmations and find out that my straight package was sent to my house too... First I was thinking... then it dawned on me.. what should I shave with? the parker... the dovo? what brush to use.. the aos best badger or the #4 srd brush.... what kinda uber later to make... aos lavender with mwf soap.. srd vanilla burbon.. srd lime.... urrg... so what would you all have done?
I chose the dovo pearlex 5/8 aos lavender srd #4 brush with the vanilla burbon

Thanked: 1587Nice to have those kinds of decision problems.
Just a quick note, from that photo there is a lot of moisture in that bathroom. I would not keep the Dovo in there under those conditions for any longer than I needed to. I realise it is just for the photo, but if that is how your bathroom fogs up, I'd store my razors elsewhere or they will rust for sure. Even INOX will rust under the right conditions - stainless only means stain resistant in my experience.

Thanked: 1587Sure, I understand. I was just saying, that's all. But even if the moisture clears quickly, it will still have settled on the razor. I lent my brother a razor once (with stainless scales) and he left it out in a similar situation to yours - rusted within two weeks...
But anyway, congratulations on some very nice bits of gear. I hope you get good shaves from them and enjoy using them!!

Either of the razors would have been my choice. Fine looking razors.
Happy shavings.
