Feather blades are the sharpest. Does your shavette have the insert for the DE blades that are cut in half lengthwise? or the longer DE-type blades?
I always wanted a shavette so I could try a feather but I'm noob myself so I'm just assuming a feather would be best for a dense heavy beard like mine.
All I can tell you is cottonblossom.com has a great deal on feathers: 100 for $24 before shipping. Consider throwing a slant bar on there if your still in to DE razors
The longer blades are prolly nicer but I think they run more $$ and I don't think feather makes them.
Wait till some other more experienced people chime in before buying those feathers.

Thanked: 1feather makes the longer style blades, but they don't fit in the blade holders. however, they work in the fromm hair shaper/shavettes sold by classicshaving.com
i've never used the DE splits in my shavettes, but for what it's worth, the fromm long-blades and feathers shave about the same. and the dovo shavette is far better than the flimsy fromm shavette.
