    Default Shaving Mirror

My wife has started asking me what I want for Christmas. Not even Halloween yet and she starts asking. Doesn't she know you dont shop for the holidays until about December 23rd?

I was thinking about a nice shaving mirror. Sometimes when streaching my skin the view in the mirror is blocked. Does anyone use one other than the one over the sink? Do they help much? What is a good magnification? 2X?? 5X??

    I kinda like this one...

I always just used the medicine cabinet mirror. In that price range, you could get a new razor or a brush.

I like it also. I think it might be helpful. However like firestart I just use the medicine cabinet mirror.

This is the one I use (http://www.amazon.com/Eclipse-Halo-L...=UTF8&s=beauty).

The swivel arm is nice and you can mount it right over the sink which is very handy. Its a little pricey at 70 bucks but the 5x feature sure helps these old eyes see what they need to see. Cheers

Those sure are beautiful honedright. I'll bet you could commission a replica for a lot less.

I use this one. I mounted it upside down so the stem doesn't get in my way. Works good.

Shit for those prices I could have my barber shave me every day for a year and a half.

X, Honestly I never thought about having someone make me a reproduction shaving stand. But now that you suggested it, I'm really curious what someone would charge to do it, same quality, carvings, turnings, etc. Hmmmm....
