Thread: Cut my earlobe today

Nice two-pass shave with a Dovo 6/8 Best Quality this morning, and I was working to clean up around the corner of my jaw.... Ba-ZINGA.... Sliced my earlobe.

Ive touched me earlobe a few times lately, with different I razors, but no cuts, until today.....

*sigh*

Rest assured, you're in good company - you're not the only one around here who has nicked their earlobe.

The older I get and the fatter I get, the more I nick those earlobes that have started to grow horizontally the last couple years...........I have given up spikes until they go away.

Yep, until those ear lobe flaps are not an issue, which I am thinking is not gonna happen by tomorrow.

My razors don't have jimps.

They have victory notches for each bit of carnage inflicted.

I've carved my ears w/ roundpoints more than any point.

I know how you feel! I cut my left earlobe for the first time today. So, I felt I had to commiserate with you.
BTW, Barry, are you a Herb Alpert fan? I grew up listening to that album that you show as your avatar. I can still hum almost all the songs on that LP!

LOL... It wasn't until I nicked my earlobe that I realised how stupid earlobes look...

Most have done this... and more then once.

On one of my first shaves I didn't have much feeling for the length of the blade yet and I managed to actually cut the inside of my earshell because I was kinda poking into it while doing my sideburns ^^

Best thing I managed to do is actually cut into my shoulder trying to reach for the brush while holding the straight in my other hand.. And it's a scar!
