Thread: Return to my shaving roots

For my shave this afternoon, I decided to pull out my original mug and puck of soap for the lather. Man, how spoiled I've gotten with my scuttle and soap+cream usual lather routine.

I forgot how much longer it took me to make decent lather in my early days. I definitely gave my brush a good whipping trying to work the soap.

Shows how much we grow very accustomed to our regular equipment.

I hate cold cream now. Used it for years but once you start heating it you can't go back.
