Well, had my first shave today with a razor I had been honing for a while... I knew it wasn't fully ready but working on these razors and not being able to use them (other than on my arm......which by the way is now nekid of hair) is like having someone bake brownies all day and never being able to even taste one!

This was my first SR shave and I did draw blood on my left cheekbone. Just a small 1.5 inch nick caused by doing repeated small strokes and pressing just a little too hard on one.

So my eagerness was rewarded..... then I found that I had NO stiptic pencil... so it was press with the TP until coagulated.

Even though the razor wasn't perfectly ready, It did shave, though not as close as a Mach3.

I hope things change when my Norton stone gets here. I have 4 that need to be brought up to shaving level and quick.... I'm running out of safety razors.
