    Nice video.

I think one of the things that Mark, Mantic59, always says really makes sense when stretching the skin. He says that you want to be able to get the area you want to shave flat so that the razor will be able to shave it better. Stretching really does accommodate that especially in those little problem areas like the round part of the jawline.

    Have fun.

    Thank you Lynn!

I feel humbled , between you and Mark there's knowledge and good will for traditional wet shaving to last a century, if not more

Thank you MJC, much appreciated, that it helps someone (really, I got so much help through the years from others and especially when I was a newbie - I'm happy if it's considered as a small "thank you" to the big wet shaving community)!

I was able to put your tips to use today with great results, thank you again.
It is a great community, but sometimes its like being around enablers/pushers...they have these great ideas and suggestions and the next thing you know you have drawers full of Razors, soaps, strops, hones, brushes etc. etc. and you wake up and wonder what happened. The fact that my own experience with Str8 shaving has been so good is a direct result of people like you and Lynn and gssixgun and Pete S and many others.

Yep, there's more than one "helpful" guy around here ... you wouldn't believe the mountains of old shaving gear I've got around our house
