You both could compromise. I like the goatee suggestion

No offense to all you goatee lovers out there, but I personally dislike them very much so that is not an option.

Don't worry manly men, I still shave whenever I want Woman don't get me down, I actually like the bearded look myself as well! So it's more of a compromise between me and my gear

Just shave one side and leave the other side run wild then! Best of both worlds and there is no way on this little blue planet that you could call what you have a goatee then either!

I must say, this shall be a lose lose situation man. If you enjoy shaving and wish to be clean shaven, you will feel a lovely little sting everytime she speaks of accepting her for her and hearing the complaints about the lack of facial hair. If you do the inverse there will be the whole emasculation she can throw back at you. Well if you didnt want to then ..... I just gave up years ago, there is not logic in an emotional arguement and the inverse is also true. I will never comprehend or understand the emotional aspects of an arguement, I'll just take her word for it.

Aint never gonna win, give up while your ahead and hope she will stick around long enough to change your depends if need be.

In continuation of the story.. Today was shaving day!

Had a very nice shave, took my time for it. She walks into the room moment I put on my Pinaud Clubman and speaks the words: "Jezus what is that smell, smells like my grandmothers dying cat!"
*Opens windows, throws out woman, goes on applying Pinaud Clubman*

Women are strange.......

When I first got together with SWMBO I had a huge goatee (down to my chest) and she wanted me to shave it off, I kept it and she stayed, almost ten years later I got into wet shaving (I still had the beard) within a few months I got rid of the beard, now she wanted me keep it!?! I have stayed clean shaven since, and she's still here

Moral is: Do what you like, if she's the right one it won't matter, she'll stay anyway

PS! Mine isn't very fond of Clubman either, but I still use it.
