    Sounds like a great start on your straight razor shaves.
    Congrats on that.
    I'm sure your experience from DE's are really doing you good.

    I do believe a majority uses 2 hands for their straight razor shaves.
    Still, plenty of folks around here using only 1.
    I would definitely recommend trying to learn to use both from the get go, but as I said, it will work with one as well

    some use one hand other both. I use both. It does not take long for your left hand to become as good as your right.
    In my first few shave I was getting better results from my left.

    +1 I would definitely recommend trying to learn to use both from the get go

    Being very right hand dominate, I found that for me the best method was to use both hands for the WTG pass and only my right for ATG.

    You could also try practicing hand switching with a butter knife, that way you'll develop some muscle memory without risking your face.
