Thread: Hit a milestone!

Okay, so for the first time I got a CCS with a mere 2 pass shave. I didn't believe that this was something that was attainable, or for that matter even possible. It was amazing. To not need that third pass is a revelation to me. I would always go for the BBS and nearly every time I would get it after three passes and maybe a touch up under the chin with a DE, but wow, using my Perry and Sons Sheffield razor I got a true CCS with just a little roughness under the chin rubbing against the grain. SWMBO was even impressed. Only two passes, thanks to all who keep me striving to learn and improve my shave. This is truly an ART!

Congrats, I know the feeling. I call it reaching a new plateau. My technique and my shave improve and then it stays at that level until one day I find myself on an even higher plateau. As long as I'm physically able I will always shave with a straight razor because it has become superior to any other method I've tried. Just gets better and better.

Is there a glossary of these short form terms somewhere? theres just too many! I assume its something something smoothe?

Click the Help tab and there is a heading called "Acronyms and Abbreviations". It helps a lot since they pop up alot.

Ok, just checked and there is no definition of CCS in the help section "Acronyms ans Abbreviations". Could the OP have meant BBS?

Hey guys, sorry it's been a while, but this two pass CCS is quite the achievement for me as it allows me to actually get a shave in even though I have a newborn. However, I have for the most part lost the ability to regularly post here and visit with you gents. Thanks for all the comments and I wish everyone a BBS shave!

edit, I see BBS is baby bottom SMOOTH, here I thought it was baby bottom SMELL!!, that changes everything!
