milestone!!!!
Finally worked up the nerve and shaved my whole head with a straight tonight (ok it was a shavette). Only 1 small nick on the back of my head, but since I cant see it and it quit bleeding pretty quick I dont think it counts. just wanted to share.

That's cool, I have yet to give that a whirl...could be the right time with the temps hitting 106 yesterday and today's forcast is 105.

It does take some getting used to. Were you happy with the results? I will always do one pass WTG, one ATG with the straight, but still have to clean up the back with a Gillette...

I mostly only did WTG (kinda thin in places) but did touch up a few spots ATG. It wasnt bad, just took time to be careful not to lop off an ear.
