Heh - its good to see fellow Canucks here. No my face isn't that bad!, I remember that from when I was a kid. Just one scar causes me grief everytime I shave, it runs into my lower lip. Thanks for tips mapleleafalumnus, I'll try to find some barbasol.

Thanked: 1195I have a small scar under my chin, not an ugly hockey scar but it's there. Oddly enough it's never given me any grief when shaving, go figure

My older scars don't bother me a bit - I heal well I guess. Shave right over them. On a new one though, I find I have to be careful and work real light as it's still "elevated."

Thanked: 0Hopefully resurrecting for extra info.
my scar is under the right nostril - litterally a blades width below.
is it better to go suicide toward the nose with very shallow angle or downward at steep angle with no pressure?

You are going to have to try all directions initially. If its right under your nostril I would try coming at it from the side first, left to right or right to left, maybe both, then downwards. Going upwards from your lip to your nose is called the "fools pass" for a reason
Most important is to keep trying and don't get frustrated. When I first started this thread I was having a terrible time under my nose and then my scar on my lower lip. Today, these areas pose no trouble, I don't even think about them when shaving. So just keep at it, it will come quick too!I dream of a world where a chicken can cross a road without having it's motives questioned.

How about a puck scar? I took a slapshot to the chin that created a nice Y shaped scar.
