Thread: First straight shave, ever!

Yep I agree, it's a challenge but it's a fun and rewarding challenge. And makes shaving a joy.

Had a good shave today, did a hot towel treatment and lathered up some razorock xxx and did two with the grain passes and turned out pretty good. No burn or cuts. A bit raw in a couple of spots because I gave myself some burn yesterday, but pretty good none the less. Finished with some razorock aftershave wax which I really like.

Well during my shave yesterday I managed to slice my face twice, and ding the blade on the tap -_-

So, now it's on it's way across the world to SRD for a hone.

What can I say? Bummer

Yeah haha. Ah well, time to practise my lather making abilities because I still suck as making lather.
