Luxury Shave
So as I have been equipping my den for each shave so that I don't have to stand in front of a sink. This is mainly so that later on when I have to get ready at the same time as others I can be completely out of the way. I have been looking forward to trying out my basin and pitcher to see how comparable to the tap water I can get. Basically I am planning to try warming some water in a tea kettle and hot steaming a towel in the basin during my next weekend shave. Does anyone have suggestions before I try it out? I plan on following this up with my experience when it happens.

Nice one, beats getting bumped whilst shaving in a busy bathroom. Perhaps throw a towel or old blanket on the floor first to avoid mess and get the hooka going at the same time for the ultimate shave in style!

I never shaved while loaded. I think I would be very afraid. That is a good looking setup. Congrats.

It's a nice setup. looks really good but I need way more room for shaving and by me the dog would have the razor.

This is a very cool, retro set-up. I too would concur that imbibing and SR shaving are injurious bed fellows. Alert and sober is the best rule for SR shaving.

It's just where I keep my Hookah. Lease does not allow smoking in the apartment. When I get a pipe stand I will be using it both for my pipe and razors.

Here is the pipe stand. Now to ponder should I use the glass humidor for soap or tobacco?Last edited by Pyrateknight; 09-11-2012 at 06:41 PM. Reason: Include info on pipe stand

Well I did do the shave and it came out functional. I just need to tweak some things like how long to heat water and such but it seems like it will work where I won't need a sink near me.
Also I got a little wall art I need to frame. It's a little clue to what my new mystery razor is.
