I've been noticing that when I am using a larger width blade like a 7/8 or 8/8 that I am flattening out the angle of the blade as I shave my chin. When this happens the shave is not quite as smooth and is a little uncomfortable. As soon as I recognize this and bring the angle back to a more upright angle (approx. 30 degree), I am back to a smooth and comfy shave. Keep an eye on this when your are shaving with any size blade.
