Wow, I can't believe I did that.
Key word there is "minimal" scars. I'm sure everyone will have at least a few, I've been working hard on mine.

It's here and it's perfect! I can't wait to use it! I am so glad I decided to buy from whipped dog. It's a 4/8 but I don't know much else about it. I will look it up. It also came with a really cool box.

It is a pretty cool looking old razor...but we can't seem to find out anything about it. Doesn't really say much on the blade other than "Classic", which returns pretty much everything on a search, and the other thing is "A.Witze Germany".
Already thinking about a second blade myself and think I might try a surprise one from whipped dog too!

The second shave went much better and I hope tonight's shave does also. I am going to do this and do it the right way hopefully with minimal scars...lol
The best way to avoid cuts is to try and separate the lather from the skin. If you go too shallow you're just spreading it around. If you go just high enough you're slicing between the skin and lather and taking the lather off.
Good luck with the legs. When my wide was pregnant with our youngest she let me shave her let's when she could no longer reach them. Not so much these days because I butchered her ankles one time. :(
