Wow, I can't believe I did that.
I just shaved my legs...
left leg was with my disposable razor and right was with my hubby's new straight razor (after my hubby spent 15 mins talking me into it).
I got two small nicks on my knee, but overall...WOW! My leg isn't red, it's not sore, and on top of all of that...I DID IT!
I do believe I did better then my hubby did his first shave, granted his shave is a bit more of a challenge. I RULE!Last edited by Amleay; 11-18-2012 at 04:45 AM. Reason: Oops forgot a pic

Yup, he sure is. It will be 10 years in December.
I will tell you that I'm no pro! It wasn't easy to do my knee and I didn't attempt to do the back of my knee. Maybe next time.

It seems to me like you did a fine job! Congrats to both you and the hubbin. And a big Welcome to SRP!!
Seriously - it takes a bit of time no matter what you are shaving. One day you'll wonder what it was about the knee that gave you such angst. Aren't the shaving creams the best!? Bet you never thought us men had such awesome "product" lol!!David

I'm not your average girl...lol. I don't like "girly" things but I'm still a little "girly". I know what a wrench is...and I can even use one...lol

Yay! Congratulations on your first leg shave. The knees are tricky I still nick mine from time to time.

Congrats on the first shave. If the husband is pushing for your own razor might I suggest a round tip as you will avoid some of the problems with the spike tip's thirst for blood....
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?
