I honestly do not know, but it *looks* OK. Just realize that like many NIB razors it will need help to be made shave ready!

    Default Are These Any Good?

You may want to email them and ask if they are 'Made in Germany' or just 'Finished' there. That may be the case with some makers today. Not sure about this one?

Out of the current production razors, these are very low on my list. Not sure what is going on with the metal, but the grinding has not been all that good as can be seen once they get on a hone by the uneven flattening on the spine on the ones I have tested. They are hard to hone and are hard to get a comfortable at best shave from. Every one I have seen also has a double bevel which does not help the situation either. I actually had an in person meeting with the owner of the Company that makes these when he was last in from Germany and expressed all these concerns to him. I have had several discussions with vendors selling these, and a couple have expressed that they will continue to sell them anyway as they are something different from the Dovo and TI's out in the marketplace. For a while, I was trying to sharpen these when they came in for honing. I simply send them back now. YMMV

    Have fun.

Hopefully the production standards will increase as time goes on. Many times the lost skill have to be re developed by the new generation. Other than Dovo and Theirs-Issard most of these cutlery companies havent made razors in years.

yea, but this outfit isn't new. They have been making razors for quite some time. It seems the quality has been going downhill a long time now.

Only honed 2 of the new 6/8 models recently. Both good shaves but one needed some stabiliser trimming.
