Default ideas for a shave den design

So in about a week we're sitting with the architect for a first sketch of our future house (currently better described as a hillside).
We're going to have a master bedroom, with a bathroom en suite, and I thought that instead of taking over a spare bathroom (which means a.I have to leave the master bedroom and b.my kid(s) will have access to my razors), or creating enough counter space in the bathroom for a his and hers sinks, I'd rather create a separate sink in some corner or niche, as a dedicated shave den, sort of like swmbo will have a walk in closet she wants.
I'm currently using the top of my wall mounted gun safe for my razors and brushes (it's a modest collection) and the safe is just outside the bath room, and a drawer for my soaps and AS, so any dedicated solution is a step up for me.

I'd love to hear any advice, pro and con. Any pictures will be welcome. I am aware of "the shave den again" thread, but this is more advice seeking and less show and tell, so I hoped it'd merit it's own thread.

    Thank you all

If I was in your shoes I would ask myself a couple of questions:

    1. How big is my collection going to get? Should I plan for that? If so, how much?
    2. Do I want to display my collection? If I do, should I use glass displays? custom wood shelving for the brushes?
    3. Do I with a built-in cabinet, or something pre-made?

My personally I will proudly display my collection (Once I get to that point) and would love to get a custom brush holder setup.

Just my 2 cents..Enjoy the new house!

    Thanks Ochavez.
I was thinking more in the lines of do and do nots, things people tried in their shave den and didn't like, things people think are must haves. I don't know, vents, light tricks, built in razor racks, what crazy stuff would people do if they could build a dedicated shave den from scratch?

    Anyone?

Well - it's kind of hard to get into specifics but I would gladly give up space in my master bedroom for two separate dens. One for my wife, and one for me.

The best den I have ever seen, was actually my parents "den" in Jamaica off their master bedroom. You walked in and in front of you was a small sink area, but a also a large bath and toilet. And a ton of mirrors. That was the communal area.

To the left was a walk in closet with an additional area that had a larger sink and shower. To the right the same thing. Dad's area was to the left and moms to the right. I can't do it justice via this post - I wish I had the family photo's but I don't.

Either way - the beauty of it was that they both had their area's plus a communal area. It was lovely really.
