I like the boker one it's very beautiful. The only thing is, is Boker just as good as Dovo?

Anyway if I'm going to get a carbon steel one I might as well go for the lowest value Dovo razor. I like the look of it and it's in stock.
My first razor is the same one you're after. Stock is definitely down from when I ordered mine about two months ago, and I ordered mine with the strop set. (With the other thread here on the forum about how some goofy ebay seller thinks that nobody wants stainless blades, well, maybe he can explain why they're all out of stock everywhere!)

All the Dovo's are nice; it's just a matter of how much you want to pay for certain looks and features. The stainless blades are a bit more expensive, but really, I'm finding now that with 7 other carbon steel razors, I take care of all of them in the exact same way, and wiping them down with razor oil.

I wish like hell that Dovo would come out with a stainless Bismarck 6/8, and I'd still like to get one of the stainless micartas from SRD, so lets hope the stock comes back soon!

Anybody in contact with SRD have an idea when they'll be getting some stainless Dovos back in stock?

I emailed Steve from the invisible edge earlier asking about a different dovo and he informed me that unfortunately one of the master grinders at dovo passed away recently so there's now roughly a 10 month wait from the order so it may be a while for them to be back in stock

While not as pretty as the Dovo version, this one from "The Art of Shaving" is pretty close, and in stock!
