Thanked: 0Neewbie Question Need some Advice
I'm new to Straight Shaving, though mot wet shaving.
I ordered a Straight Razor from The Perfect Edge, one of their TPE's which will be shave ready and should arrive next week.
Im wondering (asking) would it be a good idea to order a Straight Razor like the Feather Artist Club SS which has replaceable blades. My thinking is that with this type of Razor I can concentrate on my technique and not have to worry about Stroping and whether or not the blade is sharp.
Is this a good idea? Or am I robbing myself of something and just learn to shave and develop my Straight Razor technique with the TPE?
Thanks for the advice,
Dave

I'm sure others may disagree but I
would hold off until the razor arrives.
Chances are after your razor does arrive
you would rarely use the feather. Besides
you will likely get a case of RAD and the money
that you spend on the feather can go toward
another razor.
