It's been a few days and I haven't uploaded pictures to monitor beard growth. Baby/wife/dog stuff really destroys motivation late at night. BUT, here is today! This is 5 days of growth, only 23 more days to go

Note the random directions of growth on the neck. This makes it reallly hard to get completely smooth on my neck.

My cheeks and chin and jawline are almost always bbs but the hollow part of my neck under the jawline has never been truly bbs when felt against the grain. No idea how to get in there!

Well, since I'm mentioned I will jump in here too.

It's true, I've gone 4 days without shaving and I already feel like a dirtball.

As for long sleeve shirts, I own one... My wife constantly tells me I should wear it...But if I do, I'm afraid of what I will have to wear once it gets really cold...so I suffer in my t-shirt year round.

Except of course when I go to work, then I bask in the glory of out freshly issued fleece jacket which enables me to leave my winter jacket at home!

I'll upload a pic tomorrow of my beard so far. And when I shave, I'll be posting a video just because it's fun!

    Cheers gents.

    Shave on.

Matt, upload pics as often as you can, let's keep track of them! I doubt i'll do a video of my shave but i'll get the wife to take pictures while i'm shaving! One blade for a month of growth is going to be fun! As much as I'd like to use my new Harts to do this, i'll stick with one that i've shave tested and trust!

Why? Seriously, I know I am on a shaving forum but In my opinion a well groomed beard is much more manly than BBS.

We're both in the military and it's a MUST shave 5 days a week. It's the Queen's rules...

I am required to wear a respirator at work so I understand the desire/need for a BBS but the dirtball remark is what I question.

I was going to pm you and ask if you are in the military you answered that already. I wish I could pay to grow a beard for a month but the US Army has huge image issues. Right now I have to shave 7 days a week currently using a DE and some of these blades feel like I scraped a brick across my face. One of these days I will have a straight I am not sure Afghanistan is a great place to start learning.

Good luck on your beard growing I hope you win.

    Well groomed may look alright.
Untouched for a month looks pretty rough though.
