Hot water irritates my neck too much. Ive been shaving cold for a year now. It works for me and many others as you can see by the posts. Just takes a couple of shaves to get used to.

I have been using cold water as well. I find it easier !
For me it seems that when my skin is hot, it is too soft and it seems easier to cause irritation.. I'm only at shave 7 or so though so much experimentation required
