Congrats! I myself decided to jump right into getting a straight razor, since I kept seeing eveyone say it's the best for sensitive skin, and gives the best shave above all else. I have three on the way and I haven't even had my first shave yet!!!

Thanked: 2Just ordered from whipped dog and the postage is nothing and they do a poor mans strop. Excellent value for money. I live in France so the postage should be the same.

Thanked: 0Thanks for that Ripvanpit. I checked them out more thoroughly and sent an email to confirm. The last time I got a quote from a Coy in the States was a year ago and when the product arrived here I had to pay a delivery fee that was twice the cost of the product and the postage combined!
Whipped Dog seems to be very popular on the Forum. It will certainly set me up with a razor for a lot less than buying in the UK as far as I can see.
The other tip I read here is Geofatboy's YouTube video series and I am glad I heard about him. The Parker Shavette razor that should be on the way to me via my daughters ~ if they have decided that, even if I have gone bonkers, they will play along with me ~ was featured on a video by him and he was impressed. So now I can't wait to try it out (Stupid expression I have to wait until after the 15th March!)
