1st complete shave.
Well, after 12 days and 6 shaves, I managed my first complete shave with a straight - 2 passes and no touch-up with the cartridge. Best of all, no blood! The alum block did still sting a wee bit, but no visible nicks. No BBS by any means, but I'm quite happy with the result.
I was starting to worry a little as after my first couple of attempts my face was starting to resemble a butchers block - lots of nicks and lots of blood.
Just need to start working on the ATG now.

I'd put off the ATG passes until you have a month's worth of shaves for experience. I did and never regretted it.

Thanked: 26Some balance is needed here, so here we go: Just to be contrary, I quickly dumped the WTG and XTG passes, and my face has been thanking me ever since. They didn't do the job, so why was I doing them? They don't "do" the shave, if what you're looking for is a good job. If they did, everyone would stop there. All they contributed to the shave was blood and abrasion, and I'm better of without them.
