Why did you leave your razors behind?

i just wouldn't have had enough time to shave in the field. I would have stayed out of the woods if I had a choice in it lol

I'm going with military, but shouldn't a proper razor be standard issue?

I am picturing that guy in the movie Preditor that shaved with a trac II and sweat. Then I started wondering where you found an outlet in the woods.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Sure they will issue you a razor, might not be what you want but if you take a razor with you they will take it and make you use what they want you to use.

yea army, you would think that if they want you to shave every day they would issue you a razor but they don't do that anymore. I believe they used to issue gillette DEs back in the day but not any more

When I was in the Army (1982-1990) we used whatever our preference was. I was a DE man at the time. No one checked to see what you were shaving with, just as long as you were clean shaven. I used electrics when we were in the field...those things suck. You had a 3 o'clock shadow immediately and a 5 o'clock shadow an hour later. Now that I've learned to straight shave, it is the only way for me.
