Thread: Shave feel and difference in bevel length

I recently purchased a hargreaves and smith from Larry at Whipped Dog. It certainly seems sharp, and on first pass it cleaves through my beard nicely. However, when I decrease the angle of attack on my whiskers I notice some increased drag, and difficultly moving the razor. I feel that this has to do with the large amount of honewear, and wide bevel. Does anyone else have experience with large bevels and increased skin drag?
