Shaved the stash off for the first time since i started SR shaving. . . OUCH!!
I've now officially been a SR shaver for 6 months and for the first time since I started I shaved my upper lip! I've been doing pretty good as far as the SR shaving is concerned, almost never nick myself with mild to no razor burn most of the time. Shaving the lip started good, took the power trimmers to the stash got it down to almost stubble and attacked my upper lip with confident and not a care in the world. OUCH!!! I didn't do any practice skin stretching or pre-scouting on the directions of my Whiskers and man did I do a job on my lip. Cuts and Razor burn to no end! Just goes to show not to get too confident too quick! Cant wait till tuesday to give it another shot!!

If it is the first time you have ever shaved it, the skin is NOT used to it and will be sensitive.
The upper lip is a bit different for shaving also.
Different angles and weird skin stretching, contour...
Keep at it and you will get it.
Take it slow and go easy at first.

It always helps to make faces in the mirror and see how stretched and smooth you can get that one side of your upper lip without actually stretching. My SHMBO loves watching me do this and has even blackmailed me because she had a video. I like to take economy storkes up there. I see the old pros do a one pass and they are good, but I can not do that. I dont even go against the grain on my upperlip. I will just do Wgrain & Xgrain and I am usually BBS there in 2 passes. Good luck next time.
