They're all about the same TBH, but the only thing I've found is square points or similar (anything with a non rounded end basically ) are easier to catch yourself with the end of the blade if you're not paying attention.
Ear lobes or the nose were my favourites, but once you're aware of where the end of the blade is in relation to the rest of it then you'll be fine.
My first razor was a round point 5/8" DOVO Blackstar which I actually PIF'd to my boss as it was the only blade I had which I thought he'd be ok with. All my others are huge pointy monsters or restorations that I didnt want to part with.
I got that DOVO because it was mid range width-wise and round point, but after I got used to that I moved on to square points with no real issues.

It's like anything else. At first it seems more challenging but once you master it, it's really no different than a round point.
