Size: 40.5 KBMy grandfather is a collector of everything. Fossils, farm machinery, tools, autos, i think he even has a blacksmith's shop out back. As he has grown to like living in Phoenix more, and sold his house to my uncle, he has been parting out his collections. We got to talking one day, and he said that once he got back to Alberta that he would give me his old shaving collection. It turned out to be quite the collection, so now paired with what I already have, I think I may have exceeded the definition of collection. This is what he gave me...

Now I just have to build something to display it all. Luckily my GLW has warmed to the idea of building a workshop in the yard instead of me covering the basement in dust whenever I do a resto or batch of brushes. More on that later.

Your grandfather sounds like an awesome guy. I tend to get "over involved" with my collections-old cars, radios, razors, guns, art glass, knives, the list goes on. The only thing that really bothers me about kicking the bucket is who's going to get all my toys, and will they appreciate them.

Don't let it bother you, if you are concerened give the stuff away/ donate it to a museum/ sell it before you die, yes that does mean you would really need to do it imediately just in case, or specify in your will where you want what to go. otherwise just enjoy the stuff, Once your gone you really won't care anymore.:-)
