Thanked: 2Yes it is Giraffe bone thanks for clearing that up also wanted to know when it comes to honing this blade later can you use a zulu grey on damascus anyone had any good feedback using this hone on this type of steel thanks.

Very nice blade indeed. I've always been a fan of damascus steel. Giraffe bone though... very interesting!

First, three weeks does not constitute a real wait for a cusom straight. : )
Second, that is a striking straight and everything is a good fit, the damascus is beautiful. Congrats and thanks for sharing.Bob
