Yea i have read about the Novus 123, not expensive but i guess i will use something else for now, and buy it some other time. I got something that is called Displex, it is really to remove scratches in Mobile screen, but i think it will work for that scales also, atleast going to try

A lot of interessting info, but great to have a razor made by french maker. Only got sheffield and German razor so far, can't wait to try it when i get it honed. Still got to learn honing for real, but glad i know somebody who can help me out with that.

Widerstrahl is another story. It is not a P. Hospital trademark but interestingly its from another french razor maker "Champredon Cognet" in 1954.

And again in 1968 by Marc Champredon.

That said some mentions that P. Hospital purchase the trademark from Champredon but there is no official evidence of that from the trademark registration office.
    Thanks Martin. Very interesting pictures.

German razors were obviously the thing to aspire to in name & style.

I personally like french razors, especially old TIs and Le Grelots and Le Jaguar. Quality razors, not worse or sometimes even better than solingens

    Thank you!! :-)
It is my latest NOS find after a couple of more or less unsucessful months.
Im fascinated by the incredible natural shine of the Blade, the are no signs of dry-fine visible, just like perfect mirror.
I wonder how it will shave, its not really thin grounded (like Dubl Duck No.1 or some other Solingen Straights) but even
not so thick grounded like for example an Grelot Lotus or an Le Dandy, its more similar to the old No.188 TI`s Loup et Belier.
