    Why not, on the past they only do it on this way, i disinfect a razor after a shave whit barbicide.

    Coincidentally, I was wondering about autoclaving a razor to sterilise it, but I fear it might damage the scales. The autoclaves at our lab run at 120 degrees C and 2 bar, which I think would warp celluloid and maybe even horn.

    This is what i was thinking, I'll stay use barbicide for now. I think its works just fine, many guys in the past have used this stuff.
