Some months ago I bought a razor from one of out members here that really caught my attention.
The razor is a WUTZ, German made as the name suggests.
What caught my attention is the pronounced smiling spine on it, combined with a straight edge
It certainly looked different, and as the price was right I happily paid for it.

At this time I was a total novice at honing razors, but I knew someday I would get to try this razor out
Anyways I had a go at honing this razor and quickly met with disappointment when I could not get a bevel set at all
So at that time I decided to put it aside for a while and come back to it later
I am also pretty good at procrastinating as it turns out.
So the razor sat in my batch of "I will actually do it one one day" razor restores

So about 6 months or so later, the urge hit to get working on some razors and this was one I just had to do
I determine that a full restore was probably not what I wanted to be doing at this time and set about giving it a good clean up
The scales were given a clean initially with some Methylated Spirits, then polished with some Auto Wax I had in the garage.

Happy that the razor looked much better now I decided to hone it as well
This time my effort seems to have turned out much better
Shave test still to come
Comments and suggestions most welcome
