Default 6 Degrees of Separation and SRD

So have been looking for quite awhile now for a DOVO Bismarck, especially the one with the inlay on the scales. They're sold out everywhere.

So I happen on E-Bay a week or so ago and see a brand new DOVO Bismarck, used once, with a 21" x 3" strop included!

Price was 1/3rd less I'd pay for new.

So the razor and strop arrive this morning, and lo and behold, the strop has the SRD logo on it! The seller emails me to submit feedback, so I ask him where he got it, and he says SRD, and it even came, "sharpened"!

So just had a shave with it, wow, great shave, a bit harsh as I've read here, so maybe some extra stropping.

But sheesh, who'd a thunk it, a razor and strop from SRD in a round about way.

Nice buy. Strop it good and it should give you a great shave. I have the Dovo pearl handle with the gold wash on the top of the blade and shank and it is great. Good luck

Thanks! As I mentioned, first shave was a bit harsh, but great. Gave it some laps on my other strop with the DOVO white / grey paste and some laps on the new strop, that should mellow it out. Thanks, very happy with it!

It's called " The law of attraction " . You want it long enough and bad enough it will come your way.

    Nice catch !
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
