    Default It's raining razors.

Well not hard but a few drops anyway.

First my Mother hands me a small 3/8 she found in an antique store down the street. For some reason somebody ground the name off the tang but it will shave again.

Then yesterday the neighbor bought some tools at an estate sale and found a Krieger in the tool box. I thanked him and will add it to my collection. I have 2 letter openers now :<0). This thing is as heavy as a box full of 8/8 W&B FBU's. I am not sure what these are supposed to look like but this one looks as though somebody tried to turn it into a wedge with a portable belt sander. The restoration of this 1 will be on my "to do " list for a long time.

Then I get a package from my Uncle today and it was a much better drop.
First I find a Sextoblade from Durham Duplex razor co.
I am assuming it can be used for 2 purposes. I will need to find some blades for it to use it I think. The pouch is not in the best of shape at all but still cool.

Then I unwrap more to find this Red Point. And dang it is in nice shape. Should clean up easy enough and will post the results in SOTD. (maybe next week)

Thank You Family, Friends, and Facebook. I never sell gifts so it looks like I am now an official collector. Never was my intention to become one but I guess this entitles me to buy razors I don't need now. :<0)

I saw a Durham Duplex this weekend at an antique store. I was confused about what it was. Thanks for educating me.

The one in the top picture is a good letter opener. Not for shaving. The redpoint is a nice razor in real good shape. Looks like it will be a good shaver. Good luck and enjoy.
