Thanked: 5Auto-strops are fun and amusing. I have yet to test the effectiveness of the design or my technique. You can take the back of a standard SE blade and it's a very close fit to the Auto-strop slot. Not perfect, but it's workable. I use mine for shaving my head. The angle feel are very nice.

Feather still makes a modified blade for them and they sometimes come up on the 'Bay.
And some of the more usual suspects carry them. They are sharp!

Good shopping, John. Very, very nice. I can remember using that V4 black handle with my first mug, brush and Williams puck. Still have both (not the puck).
