Thanked: 3224One and a half from yesterday
Picked these up yesterday locally.
A little 4/8 Klas Tornblom that need quite a bit of work to clean up and still has some residual pitting and the scales need re pinning eventually, someone Mickey Moused a homemade repair on the pivot pin. All flaws aside, just shaved with it and it took a nice edge, very smooth shaver.
The half is a 6/8 near wedge blade by Horton & Co Sheffield. What a wreck but I wanted a challenge so it came home too. This is after work with 220 grit sandpaper aided by a wire hand brush and a file in one spot. Think I'll just live with the blemshes that are left, polish it up, put in horn scales, hone it and call it a day sometime in the future. Hopefully it will survive to shave again.
Can't find much info on the Horton company so if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Agreed! ...and the Horton looks like all it needs is a fresh edge. Great haul!
