    Default Big Ern

Blade feels huge to me for whatever reason. Weirdly clean for the wild aside from "100k" scratched into the scales on one side, and the faintest ding in the middle of the toe where it probably caught some faucet many moons ago.

That is a nice razor for sure. It's pushing 13/16 and that is getting up there. I got used to a couple of 7/8 I have but 8/8 is like you say " feeling huge".
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

The ern is really thick at the pivot, I think that contributes to this feel.

This razor took a excellent edge, I went JNS 1K, Striped Iyoto, Asano Yae Botan, Botan, Tenyjou, Mejiro, and Koma on a Ozuku Asagi. 30/60 Linen/English Bridle.

Yea, nice razor for sure and being an Ern small wonder it took a good edge. I like thick tangs, makes stropping easier for me. Enjoy.

I placed it in the #14 thread. That's very interesting, like car companies using a common floor pan.

This blade provided a really excellent, BBS shave. It is extremely loud while shaving, and sometimes I found the size and length in concert a bit tricky, but the end result was great.
