Thread: Kabrand 5/8 Half-Hollow

Just received my new Kabrand 5/8th Half-Hollow from member Badgister this morning.

Gorgeous blade, arrived shave ready, was polished to a shine!

Had about 3 days growth, so used a bit of pre-shave after splashing the face with cold water.

Then I tried the new Blue Proraso shave cream, which was superb, lathered up a storm. Of the line, the Blue and the Red soaps are superb for the money. Then again, aside from Col Conk and Williams, my experience is limited. We'll see when my MWF arrives.

Anyhow, two passes, it's been months since I used a half-hollow, and the great feedback combined with the heavier blade was fantastic! Result was a DFS.

Finished with the alum block, which I'm addicted to, and some Cat o Nine tails AS.

This one's definitely a keeper!
