Default My most recent scores. A Bengall and 2 Heljestrand MK31

I bought the Bengall a few weeks ago for about 35$, it's a 5/8 in good condition and it shaves very well, I got the two Heljes this week, the first one is ivory scaled and both the blade and the scales are in decent condition, it too cost me about 35$, the second Helje is nos and has celluloid scales, it also came with the original box that's almost in as good condition as the razor, it did cost me quite a bit more though, at about 110$, both Heljes are the same model(MK31) and measure 11/16.

    The Bengall

    The first Helje(used, ivory)

    The second Helje(nos, celluloid)

    Both together

I noticed that the model stamps are different. On the ivory helje, the stamp is bigger and more faint and on the nos Helje it's smaller and more bold.

Nice. Beside New Zealand, Sweden seem to have the most Bengall razors.

Australia has quite a few. I have collected six identical 6/8 Bengall's to put together a seven day set hopefully next year.

Yes I've noticed that too(except maybe Australia as Sunbird pointed out), most of the razors sold in Sweden are either made by an Eskiltuna brand or Bengall.

Swap those CVH blades and you got a sweet ivory scaled one.

As for the Bengalls, I've noticed that as well about Sweden. Haven't gotten a chance to research Cadman's exporting but I'm really curious.
