Got mine finally in nov 2013 sent it to Brad Maggard who made it look like it was brand new. willl upload pics soon. Former Devil Dog? My dream is to put together a 7 day set of them. But remember there are 2 types one on the blade that says USMC and one that has on tang. I said the same thing wonder where this was and if it was ever in any theater during WW! or WW2 bc I have seen pics where that was part of a general issue during WW2. Semper fi

I was lucky to be able to get both of the USMC Clauss the one with USMC etched on the blade is from around the Spanish American War and there was a problem with rust on the blades. The one with USMC on the tang is from around the First World War and had a coating on the blade to help with rust I am not sure about this info I am just passing on what I have been told. I am not sure if they were issued or a PX item here are the pic of the Razors layed out. The first pic has a safety razor both pic seem to be from around the same timeName: job2.jpg

Yeah they turned out really nice. My first set of wood scales. They really balance out the bulk of the blade nicely.
