    Default Instant Collection

Just got this group in and trying to sort through and figure out what I want to do with everything, so pretty low quality pics while I'm working on that. Not bad, coming from ebay at around $8 per razor

Some highlights. W. Greaves and Sons Cast Steel and "Manufactured for John Shepherd":

A very old JA Henckels, Red Injun and BJ Eyre:

Interesting grind on a Wester Bros:

3 Henckels, 2 of which carry the mark but not the name (made for an importer):

Some others included Fred Reynolds, Dahlgren, Wade & Butcher, Greaves, Torrey etc as well as some very interesting ones, like an old German one from Frankfurt A/M. I was shocked at the condition of everything coming from ebay. Most of it just needs a honing. Got real lucky with this lot! Will update this thread as I figure out what's going on with most of these.

Looks like a pile of work :<0) I mean a nice pile but still. Should last you through the winter. I am going to do that someday. Almost went there recently but luckily I was broke.

Giving credit where it's due, I think these are from the collection of ChrisL, a member here.

You snagged a nice bunch of blades! That would keep me busy most of the winter.

Great grab .... you're going to get a lot of practice making scales this winter.
