sit down and get ready. I took the blade out of the scales. started the cleaning process. now all I have is a rechargeable dermal that the batteries don't last to long. I would clean with emery cloth and buffing pads. now while the battery would be charging I would work on the scales. brillo pads and then McGrires car polish and scratch remover. after about 5 hours it looked ok but not great. the temptation to put it back together and hone and shave was too great. So I did. while I was honeing I noticed that the water was not moving in one direction. now I know why that razor was on the wall. it had a curve in the blade more than kovac could through. think i'll put it back on the wall then go get a
