Thanked: 3225Early American made straight Joseph Turner
Got this one the other day being interested in American made razors. Who Joseph Turner was is covered nicely here http://straightrazorpalace.com/show-...n-history.html . You think you have it tough today, Joseph Turner was amazing in the circumstances he came from and where he finished up.
It is a nice razor with a bit of weight to it but I don't think the scales are original. The grind is a 1/4 hollow to my eyes, just not quite heavy enough of a grind to qualify as a near wedge. It took a good edge and shaved well. Keeper.
