    Default Giesen & Forsthoff Adoration De Luxe

    I've had this razor for about 6 months, the blade is unsharpened but the pin is kinda loose or I would already be using it, still new to working on this stuff so ill be doing some research and getting this dude into service! Picked it up from another barber who wouldn't use it because it has 666 on it for $10. Best deal ever. Also have the original paper coffin.

    Looks like a pretty sweet deal you got there! Best of luck getting that pin tightened up and getting it shaving.

    Congrats! Very nice looking razor and should make a great shaver. Pins aren't that hard to tighten up, just have to be careful. Here is a How To link for a video on pin tightening;

    Isn't it funny how when a razor changes owners the 666 turns into a 999?

    Exactly, and thanks for the link, I just don't want to hone it just to foul it on the scales!

    Those "Addy Deluxe" Blades are great shavers. The scales are of Catalin. Pretty tough material, polishes up nicely. If, as you are peening it to tighten it and the collar starts sinking flat and it still is not tight, I would recommend unpinning and repinning with stacked collars and a new pin.
