Default I took a gamble and I won, but now I need some info on this razor.

So last week I won this on eBay and kind of regretted the purchase. I kept it within my eBay limit bit the blade looked... not great. Then there is the lack of info on this razor which is made in Italy? The scales seem to be made out of bone, the brand is Cogliato & Fassio Asti. On the other side of the tang there are two men that appear to be sawing a tree.

What wonders a little elbow grease (and other tools/materials) can do on what looked like an ugly duckling and turned out to be a magnificent swan. Good work!

I never saw a tang stamp, rocarule. Get us a picture of that! I am sure someone will know about them. Nice work!

Nah, it actually looks like two fellas cutting a tree with a two man saw.

I thank you for the pics. I honestly feel someone will solve this. The adverse tang stamp is the clue as to the maker, I feel German. I think this was made for an Italian dealer.
I have seen this stamp before.......
    This is a beautiful blade
