Default A great Christmas present, and one I was not expecting!

First of all, I have to say, my wife never ceases to amaze me. Despite knowing pretty much nothing about SRs, she managed to talk to a friend of mine, and got me a fantastic Christmas present, that caught me completely by surprise:

    Dubl Duck Goldedge

The fantastic detail of the handle:

    Cheers.

    That's a beautiful blade in great shape....congratulations!

Is it an extra hollow grind?

Definitely a keeper. That applies to both the razor and the wife!

That is one beautiful razor and gift. Your wife obviously has excellent taste in gifts. Perhaps flowers and a dinner out are in order. : )
